I used this block of balsa to make a decent handhold for seat in front moves. 
The balsa was carved to fit against the contour of the carbon base, then hot-glued on.   

Shown here with Roach cover loosened to show detail.  Next time, I'll put something soft over the carved balsa to make it more forgiving.
