This first prototype is made of some 3/4" steel tubing, a piece of 3/16" plate steel that bolts to the carbon fiber seat base,  and a SCOTT® ski grip.
This is how it looks from the front.    As you can see, this handle is actually shifted to the left (your right) about 1/2" from where "center" should be.  Future versions will correct this.  This one also seems to pull more on my pinkie and ring fingers than the other two fingers, so the index finger end needs to be lowered slightly.
	Even with bulky gloves on it's still easy to still fit a couple fingers around this handle.
